Questions
Utilities wire questions
Do you buy from electric cooperatives?
Yes, and from municipal utilities. We are comfortable working inside a formal surplus or bid process.
Is aged storm stock acceptable?
Usually yes, if it was stored properly. Jacket condition and shield integrity are what matter.
Can you provide documentation for our records?
Yes, a written offer and a bill of sale suitable for your disposal file.
Do you buy transformers or switchgear?
No. This site is limited to wire and cable.
The process
How selling your surplus wire works
Four steps, no obligation, and a written offer before anything moves.
Send photographs and details
Reel tags, jacket print, a wide shot of the rack, and your best estimate of footage. A packing list helps if you have one.
Receive a written offer
We separate resalable cable from recovery material so you can see how the number was built.
Approve the terms
No obligation until you accept. If the offer does not work, you keep the material and we part on good terms.
Schedule pickup and payment
We coordinate loading and freight, and payment is made according to the agreed terms before material leaves.
Request a quote
Tell us what you have. Photographs of the reel tags and jacket print let us quote accurately the first time.
What happens next
- We review the wire type, condition, and footage.
- You receive a written offer that separates resalable cable from recovery value.
- If you accept, we schedule pickup and payment.
