Electrical Wire Buyers Ohio purchases surplus industrial and commercial electrical wire and cable from businesses across Ohio. That is the whole business, and we are specific about it.

Most companies that buy surplus electrical material are either scrap yards or general equipment dealers. A scrap yard pays for metal and ignores what the cable is. A general equipment dealer buys a transformer and treats the wire as an afterthought. We do neither. We buy the cable, we identify it, and we price it on what it can be used for.

What that means in practice

A reel of 500 MCM copper feeder is not a pile of copper. It is a specific product with a size, an insulation type, a voltage rating, and a remaining length, and it has a market among contractors who need exactly that. Pricing it as metal throws away most of its value. Pricing it as product requires knowing the difference, which is the service we provide.

The same is true at the other end of the range. A box of 12 AWG THHN is worth very little on its own and a reasonable amount in a pallet of forty. Understanding that difference is why we buy mixed lots instead of cherry-picking the easy reels.
